This is a great detector, it last about 10 years and lets you know when to replace. I replaced mine with a new one of the same brand when it was time.

I purchased the Kidde Carbon Monoxide Detector for my home, and it has been excellent. The plug-in design with a 9-volt battery backup is very convenient, ensuring continuous protection even during power outages. The digital LED display clearly shows CO levels, which is helpful for peace of mind.

Installation was straightforward, just plug it in and insert the battery. The alarm is loud and responsive, and the unit has a solid, durable feel. I also like the compact design, which fits nicely on any wall without being obtrusive.

I'm very happy with my carbon monoxide detector. I put it on my kitchen counter next to the stove and so far I'm happy with it. It's flashes a green light to let you know that it's working thank God I hope I never have to hear it go off, but I would highly recommend it for anyone who doesn't have the space to plug it in. It is portable. You can put it anywhere. Too soon to tell how long the battery life is, but I'll do a follow up on that sometime in the future

This is only the second time I have had to buy one of these in the 10 years I have been in my house. I am buying the exact same one again because it lasts so long. It's not very big so it's easy to have mounted, or just sitting on a shelf. I knew it was time to buy a new one because it chirps when the device needs to be replaced. Initially I thought it needed new batteries, but after replacing them and still hearing a chirp, I looked it up. Highly recommend this.

Works as it should without issues. Tested upon receipt and no issues. Easy to set up and set in use. Good value for money. Compact enough to take when you travel, too. Can be set on a table or hung on a wall with attached screws and anchors. Highly recommend it!
